Brent R. Armstrong

BRENT R. ARMSTRONG is the president and a shareholder of Armstrong Law Offices, P.C. He has practiced law in Utah since 1971.  He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Utah and the U.S. Tax Court.  Brent holds an AV rating from Martindale Hubbell.  Brent’s practice is concentrated in the areas of limited liability companies and other business entities, tax, business transactions and acquisitions, real estate, estate planning and business entity litigation.  He is a past-president of the Salt Lake Estate Planning Council and a past-chair of the Mountain States Pension Conference (now the Western Pension Conference-Salt Lake Chapter).  Brent is a member of the Tax Section, the Business Law Section and the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the Utah State Bar.  He served on the Multi-Disciplinary Task Force of the Utah State Bar and on the Advisory Board of the Utah Division of Corporations.  Brent has been a speaker at numerous conferences and seminars relating to limited liability companies, taxation and estate planning.  He has published several articles on LLCs and related topics. He received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and a J.D. degree from The George Washington University.  Brent has been named by Utah Business magazine one of Utah’s “legal elite.”
